Dietary supplement permits in Uzbekistan

   Registration stages

   1. 1Apply through the special electronic system (Annex 63, item 5).
   2. 2For import: manufacturer's power of attorney, safety certificate or home-country registration, packaging in the state language, composition and instructions, efficacy assessment, composition report from an accredited lab in Uzbekistan, toxicological-hygienic report, and a lab finding of no narcotic substances (item 5, section 1(a)).
   3. 3For production: also a national standard, and a process instruction and recipe agreed with the Chief State Sanitary Doctor (item 5, section 1(b)).
   4. 4Pay the fees and receive the decision in 12 working days (items 6-8).
   5. 5The permit is valid for 5 years; with a sustainability rating of B or higher it renews automatically (items 11-12; Unified Regulation item 35¹).

   Registration stages

   1. 1File the request through a public service center or the single portal, with documents (items 12-13).
   2. 2Receive the invoice in 1 working day and pay it within 3 calendar days (items 20-21).
   3. 3A sanitary doctor is appointed in 3 working days and inspects the site and takes samples in 1 working day (item 25; Annex 1).
   4. 4Laboratory testing in 10 working days (Annex 1).
   5. 5The conclusion with a QR code is issued in 1 working day (item 43).

   Fee
